Talked to the seller, who responded quickly and apologetically about the delay, and offered to ship a new model (as opposed to the used version I bought). Honestly, I was initially quite worried hearing this. However, the seller did honestly send a brand new unit at no extra cost to me and I was really blown away. Fired it up and it works great. I just appreciated the communication.
