One minor thing that surprised me since the rest of the carrier is so well built, was the studs that hold the wheel, they are not 9/16 as on the hubs, they are smaller at 1/2. There may be a reason for this, but it does allow more play and makes it a little more difficult to get the 150+ lb wheel centered on the lugs. Still a quality carrier and I do recommend it.
