If it is flatter, it would simply be a piece of sheet metal with dents in it. If you have a display you are wanting to put on it, it MUST MUST MUST MUST have connections that point down or sideways. If ANYTHING goes out the back, it will not fit. Even my bottom stand mount barely goes towards the back and that interferes with the mount. Also, SHIPPED FROM AMAZON
