Some rubbing, staining and raised areas to covers. Some fraying and tears along and near spine edges and the spine/cover hinge (most notably at the top left, from edge to about 1" down). Gilt text along spine in good shape, still fairly vibrant. Some heavy frays to cover corners. Binding is mostly good, break to endpaper at front cover hinge with some mesh showing; page block is mostly good with a few worn-in areas but fully intact. Light spotting to pages here and there and a bit of discoloration to edges but overall pages look good/very good.”
