Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing, minimal pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, no writing in margins. No missing pages.

However, I would have expected a collectible $500 purchase to have been shipped insured and with signature confirmation. Instead, it was shipped media mail and left on my stoop by the postal carrier when I wasn't home. Luckily it hadn't been stolen or otherwise damaged by the post office. Would have happily paid more in shipping for peace of mind. I will have to double-check shipping for these types of purchases in the future.
