Received yesterday and titled "The Weavers Canterbury" a beautiful sepia coloured postcard, post marked 1954 referring to the row of Weavers Houses on the River Stour,,once occupied by Walloon and Huguenot refugee silk weavers who brought with them their expertise with silks. The postcard arrived by post as estimated and as described, the image was photographed at an unusual angle which I just loved; well packaged and in wonderful condition it is great value for money indeed and a perfect find.
