      They are designed to be light weight as they are particularly good when mounting wafters or pop ups where a solid pin would be to heavy & would affect the buoyancy of the bait. For tougher baits like wafters try twisting the bait onto the them the twisted wire acts like a screw so you can mount the bait without damaging them
