This STIHL replacement part is an improved design. My hand guard on 2020 MS 362 C-M broke at weakest point (left pivot arm). This replacement has a strengthened design where the original guard left arm failed. This may be an owner replaceable part depending on one’s mechanical skill level. There are torx screws, springs and C snap ring. Fit is tight and requires finessing new part into place. New part fit and feel is perfect. Original part failure photo is attached.
