The light was well packaged in a box that prevented any damage. The light received was as advertised except that it did not required re-wiring as stated in the product description. The problem was that the light bulb had been burnt out. Unfortunately this was a special lightbulb - hard to find and expensive. The light works! Waiting on an electricain to install on a spire of a church
