The machine arrived well packaged. But I would not go as far as to call it fully refurbished. Refurbished to me means checked through, maybe oiled and cleaned a bit. But this was neither. There was thread knotted up and wound around underneath the plate and it was full of lint and dusty. The wheel will not disengage to wind the bobbin, this machine needs a good servicing. Making me think twice about buying a used sewing machine again. I wish I would taken pictures but sadly didn’t.
