These things are so small I can't imagine what car hood they could go through. To be fair they did give a partial refund for an utterly useless product BUT refused fully return on an item I tossed in the trash. I would never recommend these even if they were able to be mounted they don't have the strength to keep even the lightest hoods down with ANY sort of wind hitting them. They are so tiny it makes them useless.
