Equipped with a spindle speed of 10,000 RPM and a storage capacity of 73 GB, this internal hard drive can instantly retrieve thousands of documents, audio files, and videos that are stored directly onto the main server. The Seagate Cheetah 10K.7 hard drive reduces acoustics and sound by using a fluid dynamic bearing motor that buffers loud noises. All ball bearings are removed from the motor of this internal hard drive to make sure that data is protected against accidental damage that can occur from the motor. The life of this Seagate hard drive is prolonged with the help of a Seagate-exclusive Error Correction Code technology and Background Media Scan. The Error Correction Code protects user data from being lost forever by dramatically reducing the number of bit error rate the disk drive produces. Potential errors are scanned and caught before they become problems with the Background Media Scan on the Seagate Cheetah 10K.7 hard drive, which scans for defects while the device is idle.

    Item as described. S.M.A.R.T. Diagnostics showed drive as new with no bad or redirected sectors. Drive was Extremely well packaged in an appropriately sized solid cardboard box (box filled with a proper foam HDD holder - excellent - as req). One thing worth knowing is HDD did come from China via FedEx Courier rather than Australia. 13 days from ordering (FedEx picked up 21st delivered 26th). Is great seller used FedEx. Have always found them extremely fast. Will definitely use seller again.
