I should have done some research...I thought these were authentic Birkenstocks but they ARE made by them...I didn't want to purchase a new pair until I knew if I liked them or not. I seem to have an issue with the right toe area...something is "lumpy." Nothing I can do but wear them and hope it goes down. They fit well.
