Because he is living 30 years into the future, he sees and stops all upcoming calamities in the past timeline, thereby saving his father, mother, and several nurses, and eliminating a serial killer in the process (Shawn Doyle). This intense family drama features a fascinating and intense plot with a climactic ending.
