The mandola was supposed to be CGDA but did not perform as well. The C strings are starting to unravel under the higher tension. I have it lowered to GDAE and it is much more responsive. I'll play the strings out and try a different set as a replacement. Shipping from was easy and fast. Other items bought from else where in Europe took twice as long at twice the price. This
