"The 10th Kingdom" is a two-disc set of DVDs that explores a fantastic realm involving 10 different kingdoms populated by different fairy tale characters. However, the fairy tales in these kingdoms have not ended how they should. In the worlds of "The 10th Kingdom" an evil queen has taken over, and the only way for the nine kingdoms to gain their freedom is if they find the secret portal to the 10th, which just happens to be located in Central Park. "The 10th Kingdom" tells the story of how mortals and fairy tale characters work together to save the lands from the evil queen. This fantasy story was first presented as a five part television miniseries, and it is 417 minutes long. The DVDs include notes from the director, a making of the movie documentary, and biographies of each of the stars. This fantasy two-disc set is billed as a family movie, but it may contain some scenes that are too disturbing for some young children.
