Slid on pretty easy, I put a little oil on the forks to help it slid and it was like butter. Perfect fit for my 83 Honda 200e

I don't know if I would put oil on fork boots. Might degrade the material. Any other slippery fluid like soapy water, spit, Simple Green, etc would be better.
