The mandola arrived very much intact is and quite pleasing to the eye. It tuned up without issue. The built in pick up works very nicely. The installation of the 9 volt battery was self evident. The instructions appear to be in Italian which I didn't mind. I just tuned C G D A and since I play Irish bouzouki which I tune GDAE the mental adjustment was fairly easy. The action is nice.

The finish is without any flaws that I can find and the tuners are a little sticky but, hey! That is a minor thing for me. The tone and projection is great too. I am very happy with this and might go for a Bouzouki in the near future too. Thank you!!!
