Love this rod! It will powerfully yet delicately cast very small dry flies quite well. My main rod is a 30 year old Sage 5 wt. rod that I love and see no reason to replace. However I wanted a lighter 3 wt rod to replace my old G Loomis 3 wt rod, sceptically I bought this one and I am very impressed. After having fished it several times I can say that it is one of the better 3 wt rods I have fished, regardless of the cost. This rod paired with the Max Pro reel may be the best deal in fly fishing.
