Part of HP's LTO Ultrium product family, the HP C7974A LTO Tape is easy to use, and features high storage densities and fast backup speeds. Compatible with LTO-1 up to LTO-7, it can store as much as 15TB using LTO-7, making it ideal for large-scale, mission-critical IT environments. It is also extremely reliable, undergoing and passing exhaustive testing procedures that would have broken more ordinary products. HP is so extremely confident of the product's quality and reliability that it warrants it from defects for 30 years. Moreover, its data encryption is compliant with FIPS 140-2 level 1 security standards. The Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM) version provides tamper-proof, compliant data storage as well.
