Not exactly as I expected, They will work OK but I will need to put a smooth finish on them. I thought they were supposed to be a hard wood but are not.

Hi. Just saw our response. Actually, they are made of hardwood. I use mostly Northeastern Had Maple, or Hickory. I NEVER use any type of soft wood. So you did get the Maple ones. Thank you for the input to the smoothness. I will evaluate our process. Cheer! Craig
