It's only August but the last couple of mornings have started out cool and they have been the perfect weight to stay warm. My mother cherished her Pennington 49er. She got it in the 1950s and still was wearing it in the 1970s when I was in college! I still remember her putting her hand straight through the elbow one morning! She wanted to cry but she grabbed a sweater and took the 49er to the fabric store, bought elbow patches and wore it till hers literally fell apart!
