Finally it died. Through online forums I figured it was the harddrive. This harddrive replacement was fantastic, after an offline update the xbox was up and running. While not guaranteed what drive you will get I was very happy to recieve a WD drive vs the factory installed seagate. Fast shipping, excellent price.
