This title is a fitting tribute to the last of a long and famous line of aircraft to carry the McDonnell Douglas name. The MD-11 was a follow-on to the DC-10 and proved less successful in terms of numbers produced. However, it has seen service with many airlines and is entering a second phase as a pure freighter conversion. This Aerofax volume details every aircraft and operator.
