- y***g (457)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseA great slide of a GG train now the G train at the 71st Avenue Forest Hills station in Queens it's Queens terminal at the time. Now it terminates at Court Square Long Island City. As you can see by the sign on the train it's Brooklyn terminal was Smith 9th Street the highest elevated station in the system. The G train now is extended to Church Avenue for its Brooklyn terminal. This line is the only major line not to go into Manhattan. There was talk of it going into Manhattan never did. Enjoy.

These cars were operated by New Jersey Transit when they took over operations from 1980 until 1999 when the subway was shut down so changes could be made for LRV trains which now operates on the subway. I rode it once before the subway shut down and saw the car at a train festival. I know there were fan trips with the PCC the weekend before the change over. I think San Francisco Muni used these cars. I'd recommend this item.
