I never knew anything about Fordite but in one day in Tucson visiting my daughter I met a friend of my her was wearing a unique and lovely ring. She told me what it was and told me in made of car paint. Later that day, looking at a magazine and saw pictures of Fordite cabochons in all sorts of colors. It peeked my curiosity so I had to know more. I looked at pieces online and saw this one. It reminded me of northwestern Indigenous art. I love it and love the story behind the history!
