SMART values (Power_On_Hours, Media_Wearout) were suspiciously reset, yet filesystem creation dates show it was first used in early 2022. Actual NAND writes are low, and the drive is healthy, but calling it “new” is misleading. This is a lightly used, wiped drive.

The disk was previously used as a swap partition, indicating heavy write usage.
