    SmartLock listed as new, open box. Stated item was never used. Screws were opened & had wood fibers on them, meaning they had been installed. Outside of normal wear & tear I wasn’t expecting the lock front & back to be so scratched up. All lock & hardware components were rolling free in box unprotected & sliding around. When testing lock it wouldn’t pass door orientation test needed for it to work. Many attempts made. Battery pack had batteries in it & was inserted in lock. Strike plate missing.
