Would have had to wait weeks to get it new from Subaru since they were on backorder, saved me from having to go without a working HVAC system during the cold/rainy New England fall weather. Item was packaged well. Only defect was a small chip in part of the plastic, although it did not impact installation/function and isn't visible once installed, so not a problem at all. Electrical connections were all in good shape.

This was a lifesaver for me because the old radio was black screen, and would stay on 24/7 draining my battery or I had to disconnect the battery. I even took the radio out but that left me with no AC control. Just got this installed before a thousand mile trip at 98°. It works perfectly until it was actually 98° and then it had some phone problems, but I'm sure that was due to the extreme heat. It even changed from Jeep to Ram on the icon.
