The camera did power-up but would not permit tapes to be inserted or ejected. Is there a tech solution?
Reply from: geestuffwis- Feedback replied by seller geestuffwis.- Feedback replied by seller geestuffwis.
Yes, Tech solution would be to contact the seller for assistance before leaving negative feedback. The seller has no incentive whatsoever to help you once that has been filed. Try the following -1.) Put the unit in the sun for a bit and let it warm up. The door opened when it left here so cool temps during shipping may have gummed up the lubricants on the gears/belts 2.) I would gently push/pull to try to help the door open as it tries, 3.) Partial disassembly to clean door open areas

An extremely handsome vintage silvered bronze medal! The equally attractive price made up for the somewhat elevated shipping costs.
