    This item failed to function when I received it. I kept it for parts but I should have returned it as the motherboard is the problem. The seller shouldn’t have sold it as tested. She admitted it didn’t always turn on for her. With these old iMac you never know. But it was not worth the money I spent to buy it since the main component is what has failed. Seller was responsive but also dismissive of the fact that it didn’t turn on consistently.

    I told you that you cannot plug it into a power strip to work. It has to be plugged into a wall outlet, at least that was my experience. I had no issues with it working. I did give the option to return it, but you choose to keep it.
