      Item is as advertised. The socks are quite snug by design, so consider going one size up if you plan on wearing thicker socks underneath instead of thin liners. The size from the manufacturer is a men's size and two sizes smaller than the women equivalent. I normally wear US W9 (M7) and plan to use these in cold, wet environments. Going up one size from M 7 to 8 was perfect for me.
