We have sold hundreds of brackets all finished the same, through a linishing machine, that gives a sanded finish ready for paint / powder coating. Unfortunately it wasn't satisfactory for you, but our feedback speaks for itself where quality is always praised. Buyer returned item after claiming it was defective / didn't fit, part was covered in blue sharpie around edges and holes where it had been traced and copied
