I also believe this item was very likely a fake vintage compressor that had purposely been distressed to look older. I cleaned it and touched up a few spots with a sharpie and it looks brand new. Also, the case is not the same smooth metal as on the actual vintage dbx160's that I have. Also, the seller gave me a refund and didn't even want the item returned to them. I appreciate that and the fast refund, but it is suspicious.
