Thankfully the item came with a smaller bracket which I had to use to fit it into my Riser #1. I plugged my SFP cables into it and then into my HP 2600 LFF enclosure and everything was immediately recognized. I am using it for x4 14TB Toshiba 12Gbps drives which is why I went overboard with this item even though I don't think the Dell R720 can handle 12Gbps on the backplane. Great item nonetheless!
