this seat has not been made for a 1962 A65. the front bracket has been welded in the wrong place. so it fouls the frame when trying to engage it . having been welded in the wrong place the bolt holes are not forward enough to align with the mounting tabs on the frame.
then to make it even worse the mounting holes are too far apart so only one side of the seat can be tightened down. that renders it somewhat dangerous.
the mounting hole threads are very badly corroded.
