Synopsis
In 1924, Charles Adams of Brookline, Massachusetts, journeyed to Montreal to see the Stanley Cup finals and fell in love with the game. "Those pros in the NHL can really play the game," Adams said. "I'm determined to get a team for Boston." When two new NHL franchises became available that same year, Adams snapped one up for $15,000 and set up shop in Boston. The new team was dubbed the Boston Bruins.
