    This arrived dirty and smelly. Looks like it had been used in a garage not a kitchen. After scrubbing and scrubbing it still smells like WD-40 and now is totally scratched up. I threw it in my husbands tool box. You should really inspect your items more thoroughly.

    Your comment concerned me that there was a "machine smell" or similar odor coming from the item. We have a full set of this pattern, each piece type sealed in zip lock bags for ease of inventory. I opened the different bags to see if any smell was emanating from the bags. None was. I am drawn to the conclusion that something else happened causing this odor. Sorry for your problem.
