The installation hardware was lacking. The unit came with a single screw and bolt to secure it to the car. When the antenna is expanding, and contracting, the engagement is a bit delayed and clunky. The antenna mast itself does not really inspire confidence for longevity. Overall, I think this item is a great cheap/temporary solution while you source a better antenna.
