It fit as expected on a 2014 and appeared to be exactly the same as what I removed. There was some minor warpage on the bottom left, so it took a little force to get it to mate with the frame. Once bolted up it worked fine (so far). The box was in good shape and it was well packed, so I don't believe it was a storage or shipping issue. I assume it's just the nature of the design since it is a large piece of plastic.
