I really like the spiral binding as it will be far handier when drafting patterns. For those interested in learning to draft patterns, this volume will help with elevating your skills. You will need to seek out a tutorial on making a basic sloper, as this is what you will base all your drafting on. I still have a lot to learn but I am confident that this volume will help.
