    These designer vent cover latches are junk. the 1st time I used the one that was a exact replacement it broke. Sell tried to tell me you can't turn it to lock. Wrong you have to turn it to lock ! the one i replaced was 10 yrs old and didn't give me a problem. it got lost when working on refrigerator. Like I said I contacted seller. So beware if you have a problem with a buy.
