A collection of two documentaries exploring two of the most important battles of the second world war. First, "Pearl Harbor" is an intense study of the events leading to and following the bombing that brought America into the war. Following the Japanese preparation through to kamikaze missions that sunk 17 ships in Okinawa, this is an incredibly detailed account of the Japanese offensive. The second installment, "The Battle of Midway", documents how an undermanned and less experienced American Navy was able to hold off the Japanese in the Pacific.
