Assembly was near perfect! Wood joints were all tight and wood had a nice finish to all surfaces. I will be replacing the wood screws, with brass panhead screws, but that is just a personal preference. This is just fine, as is, and is exactly as described. I've seen similar 'antique' devices that do the same thing, selling for $ 400+. This was a great find!
