The Rockford Fosgate PPS8-6 is a midrange, 6.5-inch (16.5-cm) two-way speaker that is designed to reproduce loud and clear acoustics. This Rockford Fosgate 6.5-inch car speaker uses the same efficient sound technology employed in arena and stadium systems to ensure warm midrange details regardless of volume. The Rockford Fosgate PPS8-6 features a Kevlar fiber reinforced paper cone for durability and a vertical attach surround technique to increase maximum output. W-style treated cloth surround gives additional support to the speaker system. This Rockford Fosgate 6.5-inch car speaker is equipped with an 8-Ohm, high temperature voice coil for efficient heat dissipation and minimization of distortion. The 8 Ohms of this two-way speaker makes it an ideal candidate for systems with multiple midrange drivers. The speakers handle up to 100 watts RMS and 200 watts of peak power. The frequency response of this midrange speaker is between 87 Hz to 5 kHz. The dimensions of this Rockford Fosgate 6.5-inch car speaker are 9.6 inches high by 8.1 inches wide by 4.2 inches deep (24.38 cm by 22.84 cm by 10.67 cm), and it has a weight of 16 oz (0.45 kg).
