Degreased, rust treated and painted black, head were painted aluminum color for all the "know it alls" that see it. New Melling M29HV high volume oil pump, the timing chain slack was well with in GM specifications, so we left that alone. All new Felpro seals and gaskets. I used the intake from the engine I had, new water pump with 160 thermostat. She runs fantastic.
