I have been fighting this thing for over a week trying to get it to work. I was questioning my soldering skills, chip orientation, the jumpers. What was I doing wrong?! I spent a few days just testing with a multimeter from point to point. Everything seemed fine. I broke down and bought a TL8866II Plus programmer to test all the chips. Everything tested fine except the 28C64B. It was bad! Don't use one of these without a chip tester because they obviously don't check them before sending.

The chips are brand new pulled from factory tubes. Indeed we do not test brand new chips. If I write to an EEPROM and then erase it, it's not brand new anymore is it? You could have contacted us and requested that we test and send you another chip, which we would have no problem doing. I cant see any attempt made to contact us regarding the issue. That's ok, you should buy from another seller, or ask questions before making a purchase. Thanks
