Excellent product, I highly recommend it for Accurate Outdoor/Indoor temperature and humidity readings.
Keep in mind, that if you wish to have the backlight stay on all the time, then you must plug the unit into a standard 5VDC USB outlet. The cable is provided.
The AAA batteries alone will work, but if you do not supply USB power, then the backlight will stay on for only ~10-seconds.
