I could have manufactured this myself but I figured for the $42 after tax I paid for it if we're better just to buy it. Plus there would be some cost in manufacturing it. The main base seems to be about quarter inch thick the supporting arm is a bit better but real nice. Have not put it on yet but suspect it will work just great. Looks just as expected.
