The rubber hose were soft and pliable, as they should be. There was a little fading which is the only indication that they were used . I must say that they were very nice. I am so very pleased. The ones on the car were so bad that they were crumbling and that caused the hoses not to seal so the sensors were trying to correct the air fuel mixture which caused the engine to surge. The mechanic was very pleased when I gave him these parts. He had orderd them three times and they never shipped.
